Nice Band Conditions today

Had some really nice band conditions during daylight here today on all bands from 20m through 10m. This despite a major geomagnetic storm and low solar flux and sunspot numbers. Not sure why this is but I’ll take it. The real surprise is that 10m is starting to show signs of life after being dead for months. I hadn’t made a 10m contact since mid-June. Now seeing some band openings into South America during the day and making some solid contacts. 17m Was very active today and I managed a couple of nice ragchews. Also worked some PSK31 on 20m and even added West Virgina to my WAS list…only seven states to go!
